Well, that was nerve-wracking. I like the ambiguity of the ending, left me wondering what happens in the next minute
Fascinating to hear you say that, my wife said the exact same thing - but my response was -
“Huh? What next minute?”
My fiction tend to be braindumped and then left - just like my other work.
It gets to live on its own, warts and all.
But maybe it doesn’t have to be that way?
