I love reading dialogue, and writing it can be very difficult for most writers, but i found this thoroughly enjoyable. It's putting our characters into a 3D world and thinking like them, acting like them in a different space is complex and difficult, I so enjoyed this.

This is really good. It reads like a modern crime noir. Has a very authentic feel. And I love the the transcript format. I’d love to see an extended version of this, or this as one piece of a crime novel or longer short story. Throughout, I kept trying to visualize what each character looked like and before long even though I was reading silently, each of the characters had a distinct voice in my mind. Great read.
That means a lot - thank you! I was curious if the transcript style would actually carry a story on its own, so hearing that it felt alive on the page really matters. I’ve been toying with the idea of expanding it into something longer… we’ll see where it goes 🤷🏻♂️
